Every Behind the Lens Seniors experience begins with getting to know your senior—their personality, their interests, their style, their activities, and the things that make them uniquely themselves.

From there, we create a session around them—not around a stopwatch or a predetermined formula.

01 — Let's Get to Know Them

Before the Camera Comes the Conversation.

Once your session is booked, you'll receive a personalized questionnaire designed to help me understand your senior.

We'll learn about their personality, interests, activities, favorite places, style, and what they want their senior portraits to feel like.

02 — Plan the Session

Every Detail Has a Purpose.

We'll discuss wardrobe, locations, personal interests, activities, and any ideas your senior would like to incorporate.

The result is a session designed specifically for them.

03 — The Session

Relax. Explore. Create.

Once we're shooting, I'll provide direction and guidance throughout the session while leaving room for your senior's personality to come through.

Multiple outfits and locations can be incorporated to create a varied gallery.

04 — Choose the Favorites

After the session, we'll review the finished photographs together and select the images that best represent this chapter of your senior's life.

The Ordering Experience

Choosing Your Favorites Should Feel Personal.

After your portraits have been professionally edited, we'll sit down together for a personalized ordering appointment.

You'll see your images and have the opportunity to choose the photographs that mean the most to your family.

From there, we'll design the finished artwork around those favorites.

Whether that's a statement piece for the wall, a beautifully crafted album, or a collection of prints to share with grandparents, the final artwork is designed to become part of your family's story.

A Lesson in Photography

A Tradition of Seeing What Matters.

My grandfather, Tom King, was a World War II combat photographer. Photography wasn't simply something he practiced—it was something he believed in.

One of the lessons he passed down to me was a simple one:
